The Role:
To develop strategic guidance in insuring that the company has the appropriate resources to support current forecasted business and projected growth; to communicate resource plans to gain consensus from Sales, Supply Chain, and Distribution that respond to current and expanding markets; and to develop Operational/Distribution models to determine and validate business strategies.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
10+ years experience in Materials Management, Supply Chain & Logistics preferably in ME Region.
Ability to evaluate new suppliers/vendors in suppliers qualification process
Demonstrable skills in supply chain process, inventory management & Logistics support.
Ability to forecast materials demand Sales & procure materials on competitive prices
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Proven analytically and problem solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence others and manage change
Ability to analyse, identify and implement opportunities for improvement
Expertise in procurement methodology and cost management protocol
Strong planning/project management skills
Experience of negotiation, contracts & agreements with suppliers
Professional accreditation e.g. CSCP, CPPM, preferred but not a requirement
Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems (we use Microsoft A/X)
Experience with all Microsoft office software systems

Education:
Business Management, Engineering Degree from an accredited university or college with Supply Chain degree/diploma a plus
