The Role:
!Exciting supply chain role in a constantly growing company!
Location: London (UK) or Böblingen
Purpose:
* Develop concepts and strategies in order to build robust supply chains and integrate the production material suppliers into our end to end supply chain.
* Supplier integration activities for aligning delivery concepts (JIS, JIT etc.), packaging, IT-systems for call offs and maturity tests for the supply chain will be conducted.
* Manage all activities to improve the supply chain performance with regards to cost, reliability, quality and time.
Responsibilities:
* Identify latest SCM trends and technologies and evaluate the possibilities of application within the company.
* Develop multiple scenarios for supplier integration balancing the commercial optimum with the best logistical performance.
* Lead supplier integration projects.
* Organize and moderate alignment workshops with suppliers to balance manufacturing and supplier needs.
* Alignment with the suppliers on all relevant kinds of supply chain parameters such as order quantities, lead time, packaging etc.
* Facilitate decisions on different warehouse concepts such as vendor managed inventory, consignment stock etc.
* Continuous improvement of the end to end supply chain incl. make or buy evaluations and logistics audits at supplier plants.
* Implement appropriate concepts for supplier payments.
* Develop and conduct stress tests for the supply chain to secure a successful ramp up of the serial production.
* Consulting in creating, establishing and running vehicle distribution.
* Support developing and implementing a supply chain model for spare parts considering time critical supplies, inventory levels, warehouse locations and outbound logistical concepts.
* Network with the wider organisation to maximise group leverage possibilities.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Extensive supply chain management experience gained at either a Tier 1 automotive supplier or automotive OEM
* Provide know how in developing and implementing supply concepts for serial production as well as spare parts servicing aftermarket organizations
* Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivery
* Experiences in supplier development projects especially with regards to improving the supply performance
* Experiences in Value Chain / Supply Chain analysis and optimization
* Previous experience in working cross functional and be able to build effective working relationships internally and externally
* Demonstrable ability to prioritise tasks and have effective time management and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
