The Role:
1. The Network Administrator is responsible for overseeing network devices installations, network cabling, troubleshooting technical errors, as well as monitoring and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure.
2. Assist in resolving various IT technical support issues or changes as per request from end users.
3. Perform network monitoring and analysis, troubleshooting and escalating technical issues, including proactive problem resolution to maintain network performance.
4. Assist in installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware/software faults and solving technical problems.
5. Develop, maintain and perform IT Technical support operational procedures and ensure operational tasks are performed reliably and consistently to reduce the risk of unplanned outages.
6. Installing and configuring computer systems, software, networks, printers and scanners
7. Analyzing and solving hardware/software faults
8. Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades
9. Provide support for IT Infrastructure related emergencies as well as on call maintenance support
10. Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation
11. Analyzing Current IT Technical systems, business models and recommend updates, if required changes or upgrade in coordination with Department Head
12. Supporting users on change control and system updates;
13. Providing training and user manuals to users of a new system;
14. Keeping up to date with technical and industry developments
15. Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability
16. Supporting users on change control and system updates
17. Research emerging technologies to decide if installing them can increase the organization's efficiency and effectiveness
18. Oversee the installation and configuration of new systems to customize them for the organization
19. Troubleshooting and other R&D for problem solving.
20. Maintaining information records and configuration files.
21. Prepare timely and accurate reports in line with narrative reports that meet the requirements.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in IT
Certification in IT System's administration or CCNA/ CCNP MCITP.
04-06 years of relevant experience
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Strong Network Administration experience.
Experience working with business users and IT to research, document, and resolve related systems issues.
Experience creating, documenting and performing functional testing/use case scenarios.
Advanced knowledge of Windows Server / desktop Operating Systems
Managing routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers and IP telephony
MS Office
