The Role:
Work Scope Objective As part of a team; be responsible for the onshore planning and offshore supervision during the installation the Vertical XT's for the Greater Catcher Area 2020 wells (Varadero, Catcher North & Laverda). Ensure compliance with the Premier Oil Well Engineering Management Standard (WEMS), HSE Risk Management Standard, Government Regulations and local industry guidelines / best practices with due regards for health, safety and the environment. Shall be conversant with both new build and legacy systems from Dril-Quip to install and operate their equipment.
1 Responsible for the installation of the Dril-Quip Vertical XT from the drilling rig during the completion phase of the well, including but not limited to:
* All Interfaces with the Drilling Contractor (Rig)
* Running / Retrieval of the Drilling HP Riser
* Tubing Hanger Preparation & Installation
* Vertical XT Preparation & Installation
* Running / Retrieval of the EDP / Dual Bore Riser / Surface Tree
2 Ensure compliance with Premier Oil's Well Engineering Management System / HSE Management System / Well Delivery Process and all permits, consents and regulatory notifications required to meet the planned operations.
3 Interface with all project teams and liaise with internal customers and stakeholders to ensure that all objectives are understood and met.
4 Co-ordinate all subcontractors to ensure objectives and interfaces align with excellent communication between all parties to ensure operations are performed safely and efficiently.
5 Continuously monitor performance including; HSE, operations and logistics whilst capturing lessons learned and continuous improvement. Providing QA for all operations in relation to well objectives and technical KPI's.
6 As part of a team, ensure all activities are planned and executed with HS&E at the forefront.
7 Provide technical discipline expertise to support the Asset with the operational aspects of Wellhead / Xmas Tree Systems, to include but not limited to: stack-up and systems integration testing, troubleshooting issues, providing solutions (etc.), maintaining stock levels and inventory management.
8 Participate in the compiling of end of well reports in a timely manner and ensure all well data is collated and stored in the standard Premier Oil filing format.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Previous North Sea experience with all types of drilling rigs (jack up and running of Vertical XT from jack-up's preferred) and a variety of operations.
* Valid Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET).
* Valid medial certification and all others training / certification to travel offshore and supervise operations at the wellsite.
