The Role:
Establish bidding, project and operations teams in Americas, seconded from the COE, who are accountable for all aspects of technology, planning, budgeting, delivery, operations, contracts, HSE, and QA/QC.

Oversee and manage business development, marketing and sales including tendering and contract management, project execution and operations in Americas for any floater solutions, ensuring that the highest objectives in terms of HSEQ are maintained throughout the project life cycle.

Oversee and manage current and prospective Clients' business requirements for any floater solutions worldwide to ensure OBU's sustainable business growth and maximize Company's profitability.

DIMENSIONS:


Financial Perspective:
 Major EPCIC Project with Contract value in the order of 1.5 - 2 Billion USD
 Estimated annual revenue up to 219 Million USD per project for 20 years charter
 Protect Company's liabilities up to 1 Billion USD

Organisation Perspective:
 Direct Reports General Manager & 4 Managers

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
 Lead and manage the creation of the commercial solution and proposals in terms of commercial, contractual, financial terms and conditions including taxes and projects risk assessments.
 Develop business and financial strategies for new opportunities and align organization, procedures, plans and policies accordingly.
 Accountable for the commercial and operational outcomes of the Americas Business Stream. Responsible for growth and development in that sector and responsible for outward facing communications such as Clients and Strategic Partners.
 Provide global direction for Americas organisation by developing short-term and long-term financial and operational goals.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Strategize the development of tender submission documents and commercial contracting strategy, in collaboration with OBU internal departments and external stakeholders of suitable solutions that meet the Client commercial and contractual requirements.
 Update Senior Management on organisational finances, operations, and progress toward goals, garner buy-ins and necessary approvals from Corporate Management and Board.
 Work closely with other regional SGM's to ascertain goals and prioritize objectives.
 Work with the team to monitor and track progress toward goals and measure analytics
 Determine ways to reduce costs, increase revenues, and improve overall company performance and profitability while ensuring that Company's objectives and KPIs are met.
 Engage in high-level negotiations to build beneficial relationships with Clients and individuals and identify potential Strategic Partners.
 Manage the marketing, tendering effort, project execution and operations with a view of optimizing the overall performance of the OBU while maintaining the safety record and KPIs at the highest level.
 Establish annual budgets for the regional organization.
 Establish and maintain procedures, guidelines, practices and routines.
 Represent the Company at conferences and high-level meetings.
 Maintain in-depth knowledge of the industry and liaise with specialised colleagues for expert advice on finance, legal, and regulatory issues.
 Develop potential leaders, coach and motivate staff for higher performance to achieve OBU's business objectives by providing guidance and motivation to drive the development of subordinates.

KEY CHALLENGES:

 Supporting Company's ambition to be recognised as a leading provider and operator of 'High Value and Complex FPSO facilities'
 Formulate "Winning" techno-commercial-contractual propositions to meet Client technical, commercial and contractual requirements whilst achieving the Company project economics and risk assessment expectations and successful operations throughout the project life cycle.
 Supporting Company's ambition to be recognised as a leading provider and operator of 'High Value and Complex FPSO facilities'
 Working in a multi-cultural environment across multiple Countries and locations
 Meeting and complying with the local content requirements.

Working Experience
 Ideally will have 30 years relevant experience in the execution of major Offshore Oil & Gas EPC projects.
 Ideally 15 years in Offshore Oil & Gas Business Development, Project Management or Operations.
 Ideally 18 years in FPSO projects

QUALIFICATION:
 Ideally will have a BSc. Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent
 MSc. / MBA or related professional qualification is an additional advantage.
