Role Overview:
Focal point for all non-technical data and security of that data across the BU (File shares and Connect - excluding exploration & Subsurface technical data). Managing the document control team ensuring procedures and policies are adhered to and business needs are met.

Key Accountabilities:
1. Focal point for all UK IM (Excluding technical data) queries, escalating to UK IS Manager where necessary. Providing Information Management support to the UK including document, records and data management
2. Provide IM system support including, troubleshooting, metadata management and new content provisioning for custom SharePoint solutions. Focal point for all new content requests in Connect. Work will also involve document and data migrations for the UK, both within the company and with 3rd Party's
3. Delivery of IM and IS projects on the approved IM plan. Takes ownership of allocated projects and works with greater IM team and internal colleagues to deliver. Provides Project Management throughout the entire project lifecycle
4. Working within the UK IM & wider UK IS team to continuously improve the IM Function. Providing continuous support to improving systems and content in all IM systems for the company. Includes creation and continuous revision of IM processes and procedures. Liaising with Functional & Asset managers and offshore & onshore Operations to ensure that IM services continue to meet the requirements of the business
5. Provides IM & DC support to all Development Projects throughout all phases of the project. Works alongside the project to facilitate a smooth transition into Operations including providing assistance with project close-out. Prepares and reconciles all documentation and data for import into the company's systems
6. Manages all non-technical data in the UKBU including shared drives, SharePoint (Connect) and hardcopy Records
7. Perform document and data migrations to the company's systems including metadata cleansing and deduplication

* Ensuring prioritisation of work due to ever changing business needs.
* Ensuring data security across the BU, while ensuring people have access to what they need to do their day to day job.

Qualifications:
Further education in related discipline preferred although significant relevant industry experience will be considered.

Candidate Profile (include Skills & Experience, Attributes, Behaviours):
Skills / experience:
* Extensive experience within the oil & gas industry with extensive knowledge of Offshore Operations and Development Projects
* Expert in Information Management and Data Management.
* Extensive knowledge of oil and gas documentation
* Experience of working in an integrated Information Services team with a good level of IT understanding

Knowledge (e.g. systems, software, procedures, regulations):
* SharePoint experience essential - preferably super user level
* Sharegate experience preferred
* Experience in troubleshooting and SharePoint support
* Excellent end user computer skills - Specifically Adobe, MS Excel, Visio and Word
* Expert in Information Management systems and processes
