The Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced ISO Specialist on a 12 month contract. The right candidate will play a key role in ensuring the successful implementation of the company's Innovation Sustainable Operations Strategy. This person will focus on project management and internal engagement. The primary responsibility will be supporting the ISO team with project work including research, data collection and analysis, reporting and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and advocate for the climate change strategy, relevant HSEC targets and ISO Strategy.
- Project manage internal and external collaborations.
- Collaborate with the ISO team to develop business cases and funding requests for projects, trials and demonstrations.
- Actively cultivate and maintain a relevant network of internal stakeholders, partners and vendors.
- Work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment, taking direction from ISO Program Manager(s) to complete research, analysis, report writing and presentation preparation.
- Work with the businesses, assets, and functions to accelerate the deployment and adoption of low emissions solutions.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Ideally degree qualified in science, technology, engineering or a related discipline
- Extensive experience in a similar role
- Experience working in an energy or climate change-related and/or technology filed
- Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal
- Excellent active listening skills
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Microsoft office experience, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Project management skills
- Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in agile and ambiguous situations
- Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
